Founding Engineer
Scalio helps businesses grow online and acquire customers using AI. We’re a small, fast-moving team building a consumer-grade AI product used by thousands of businesses.
We’re looking for a Founding Engineer who is strong at shipping products end to end.
This is roughly 75% engineering, 25% product thinking .
What you’ll do
- Build and ship core product features across frontend, backend and AI systems
- Work on AI agents, orchestration, tool use, workflows and production reliability
- Own features from idea → UX → implementation → production
- Make product decisions alongside the founders, not just execute tickets
- Move quickly, test ideas with users and improve based on real usage
- Use AI aggressively to build faster and operate effectively in a small team
You’ll probably be a good fit if
- You have 1–2+ years of experience shipping production software
- You’ve worked on a consumer-facing app or web product
- You have strong product sense and care about UX, speed and simplicity
- You’ve built with LLMs, AI agents, orchestration or similar AI systems
- You’re comfortable working across the stack
- You’ve worked at an early-stage startup or in a small, high-ownership team
