About Scalio
Scalio is building an AI marketing engine for small businesses. We are not building another design tool or content-creation app. We are solving one question: how can AI help every small business get more customers?
Our users include saree sellers, bakery owners, salon operators and other business owners across India. Many are new to technology, may not read English comfortably, and may use phones with enlarged text or display settings. They can hesitate before tapping an unfamiliar element or leave after one confusing experience. Designing for them is hard and that is why this role matters.
What you’ll do
- Bring exceptional product and visual-design taste into Scalio.
- Turn complicated AI workflows into simple, guided mobile experiences.
- Design for users who may not understand conventional interface patterns.
- Prototype rapidly and ship multiple times a week.
- Speak frequently with customers and think from their perspective.
- Use behaviour, feedback and product data to improve key metrics.
- Own problems from exploration through shipped execution, while helping build a scalable design system.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of product-design experience and a strong portfolio of shipped mobile products.
- Exceptional UI craft, product judgment and command of Figma, components and rapid prototyping.
- Experience designing India-focused consumer products at meaningful scale.
- A real understanding of Tier 2 and Tier 3 Indian users.
- Experience conducting customer calls and translating insights into product decisions.
- Comfort with incomplete specifications, messy inputs and fast iteration.
Experience at Myntra, Meesho, Zomato, Swiggy or a comparable Indian consumer startup would be highly relevant.
What to expect
You’ll work directly with the founders, speak to customers and ship frequently. There is no room to hide behind process. If you want months to perfect every screen, this probably is not the role. Compensation
Up to ₹25 LPA, depending on experience and fit.
