Senior Copywriter – Performance Marketing (2+ YOE)
HSR Layout, Bengaluru | Full-time | Work from office, Monday–Friday | Competitive pay + ESOPs
About Scalio
Scalio is building an AI marketing engine that helps small businesses get more customers. We work at the intersection of AI, consumer behaviour and performance marketing. We spend heavily on advertising, produce creative at high velocity and let campaign results decide what deserves to scale.
We need a writer who understands that performance copy is not about sounding clever. It is about understanding people well enough to make them stop, pay attention and act.
What you’ll do
- Write short-form video and creator-style performance ad scripts.
- Develop hooks, offers, calls to action and fresh creative angles.
- Write static ads, landing pages, retargeting and lifecycle communication.
- Turn customer insights into multiple distinct creative directions.
- Study campaign data, identify winners and produce thoughtful variations.
- Give designers, editors and creators clear directions they can execute.
- Produce approximately 10 strong scripts on many working days, alongside other performance-copy needs.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of professional performance-copywriting experience.
- Strong writing fundamentals developed before generative AI became the default.
- Published work for a new-age Indian consumer company or a high-volume performance team.
- A portfolio that shows work that was actually shipped and tested.
- Understanding of hooks, objections, desire, urgency and customer psychology.
- Comfort using CTR, CAC, conversion rates and other signals to improve copy.
- Excellent conversational English and Hinglish, plus the ability to deliver consistently without waiting for inspiration.
Experience at Meesho, Zomato, Blinkit, Jar or a comparable consumer business would be especially relevant. AI should accelerate your judgment, not replace it.
What to expect
The workload is real. We test aggressively, move quickly and spend meaningfully on performance marketing. This is not a role for someone who wants to write two polished brand films a month. It is for someone who can generate strong ideas daily and remain accountable for results.
We offer competitive compensation, meaningful ownership and ESOPs.
